We let not Sheikh Hasina's achievement get faded: Quader

< > Newsflash Correspondent Newly elected Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport Minister Obaidul Quader today said they let not the achievement of Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina get faded due to misconduct of few leaders and workers or people's representatives. "Those who make activities against the party discipline should change themselves, otherwise none would be spared," he told an extended meeting of Dhaka City North Awami League at a Mohammadpur community center here. The Awami League general secretary called upon the party leaders and workers to maintain discipline and not to try to satisfy the party leaders rather to satisfy the people. Awami League joint general secretaries Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif and Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Organizing Secretary AKM Enamul Haque Shamim addressed the meeting as the special guests with Dhaka City North Awami League President AKM Rahmatullah in the chair. Quader said conspiracy is still going on against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The minister said if Sheikh Hasina is not alive, the flow of development and progress of Awami League and Bangladesh will get halted. The party general secretary urged the leaders and workers to stop the giving floral greetings to elected leaders in the just concluded council. "The Awami League council has ended in line with the expectation of the countrymen. Now we should start working for the people," he added. The minister said the government has two years left as national election will be held within the last three months of its five-year tenure. "We should win the heart of people through our well behaviors by this time," he added. Quader said teamwork has already been begun for the next election as they are holding meetings in phases. "There is no scope for wasting time as politics has no alternative to hard labour," he added.
