The probe body formed to investigate the Bangladesh Bank reserve heist today handed over its full report to Finance Minister AMA Muhith.
Head of the government-formed probe committee Dr Farasuddin, who was a former governor of the central bank, submitted the full investigation report to the minister this noon.
After receiving the report, Muhith said it will be published soon and the recommendations which were made in the report will be implemented.
On April 20, the probe body had handed over its interim report to the finance minister.
Earlier, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has said, at least 20 foreign nationals have been identified for their suspected involvement in the theft of $ 101 million from Bangladesh Bank’s account with US Federal Reserve Bank.
'Involvements of 20 foreign nationals have been found in the Bangladesh Bank fund heist. Of them, some are from Sri Lanka and some are from Philippines,' said the CID official.
