2 hacked dead in Chittagong ‘shrine’

Chittagong Correspondent Two people were hacked to death in an attack by miscreants at a so-called shrine of Bayezid in Chittagong on Friday. Another young man was also injured when the criminals exploded a bomb while fleeing, reports United News of Bangladesh. The deceased were identified as Rahmatullah alias Nengta Fakir, 52, a so-called fakir, and his follower Abdul Quader, 25, also custodian of the shrine. Police and locals said the miscreants stormed into the den of Rahmatullah, known as Lengta Fakirer Mazar, in Sher Shah Bangla Bazar area around 2:00pm.
