NEWS FLASH CORRESPONDENT The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has instructed all local airlines to issue boarding passes for any domestic routes to passengers only after seeing their photo identity cards in ensuring security of all concerned. The CAAB issued the order in a circular dated Jun 30 saying "passengers travelling by air on domestic and/or international route must produce their photo identity card at the check-in counter along with the ticket". Biman reduces fare for Eid

Staff Correspondent Biman Bangladesh Airlines reduced its fare in all domestic routes from Taka 200 to 500 targeting Eid-ul-Fitr festival. The national flag carrier will also operate special extra flights from Dhaka to Jessore, Rajshahi and Syedpur from July 15 to carry more home-bound people centering the Eid, a press release said.
